Scott Wu on Acquiring Windsurf
Probably one of the best episodes on cheeky pints. The dude is very sharp. I like his take on ASI, similar to my own understanding of how things will unfold: ASI is not a binary milestone but a gradual progression, arguing that agents like Devin already demonstrate broad, general intelligence. He is skeptical of a sudden “singularity” breakthrough and instead emphasizes steady improvement and practical application over theoretical leaps.

Genie 3: An Infinite World Model
I heard a lot of talk about Genie 3 lately, but didn’t really get it, this podcast straightened me up. Genie 3 is a cutting-edge, real-time world model that lets you instantly create interactive, explorable virtual environments from just text or image prompts, with no underlying game engine or pre-defined rules. It unlocks a fundamental shift in simulation: anyone, human or agent, can now step into, manipulate, and even learn from an infinite variety of worlds, supporting everything from education and entertainment to AI agent training and potentially advancing the path towards embodied AGI by providing open-ended, diverse experiences and challenges in a safe, controllable way. Really looking forward to how this evolves.
